Ashley Foulds heard the news as she was waking up this morning.

The Supreme Court ruled that her marriage to her wife, Cori, was legal everywhere in the U.S.

“I woke up married in all 50 states. Now we are truly equal in the eyes of everybody whether they approve of it or not,” said Ashley, a stay-at-home mother of two sons and a daughter.

Ashley and Cori, a lifeguard training to become a Palm Beach County firefighter, married minutes after the state of Florida allowed same sex couples to be wed in Florida. In March, they held a more formal ceremony in front of family and friends. The family lives in suburban Lake Worth.
